This morning, we drive to Old Jaffa to visit the Church of St. Peter & Simon, the tanner`s house where the vision of peter took place, then on to Caesarea the capital of the Judea province during the roman period, built by Herod the Great & the place where Cornelius, Pontious Pilate & other important figures mentioned in the New Testament stayed there, later, after visiting the Theater, Hippodrome & Herod’s palace, we stop at the Aqueduct. Then continue to Haifa and Mount Carmel to visit the chapel of the
Prophet Elijah, the Carmelite Monastery of Stella Maris and enjoy a beautiful view of the Mediterranean at an observation nearby, drive through the Jezreel Valley & drive up to Mount Tabor to visit the Church of the transfiguration.
Today we will visit the Church of Annunciation in Nazareth where the angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she will bear a son and will be called the son of most high, after it we visit the church of St joseph & the synagogue of Nazareth. then drive to Cana & visit the wedding church, where Jesus’s first sign was revealed ‘ changing water into wine & to renew our wedding vows. later on, we drive to
Tiberias and visit the sites around the Sea of Galilee: Capernaum, Tabgha, Mount of Beatitudes, St peters primacy church, Magdala and enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee.
